Since I'm at the Natural Products Expo West this weekend, I felt it would be appropriate to blog about healthy food...specifically "Super Foods". Our friends at Wikipedia define a Super Food as "a type of food believed to have health benefits beyond those of more common foods due to specific phytonutrient content. For instance, blueberries are considered a superfood or superfruit because they contain significant amounts of antioxidants, anthocyanins, vitamin C, manganese and dietary fiber which are believed to provide important health benefits." Sounds good, sign me up for some, right? It's not rocket science, just east lots of fresh fruits and veggies, especially the ones that are very dark in color.
