above: A Stevie Nicks banner for the Fantasy Springs Resort where she performed in the Palm Springs area.

above: I thought this was pretty cool. There was a huge light image of Stevie Nicks projected onto the top of the hotel at the resort where she performed. I could see her image from the highway when I drove off the exit.

above: Stevie had a few costume changes throughout the night, with her usual array of signature attire: mile-high boots, lace shawls, flowing dresses, hats, feathers and ribbons galore. She loves to twirl and show it all off.

above: Stevie Nicks dancing. She was in great shape and looked great. This was a great concert because she sang a mix of old and newer songs. She performed some of her classic Stevie Nicks solo songs such as "Stand Back", "If Anyone Falls", & "Landslide", a few conver songs like "I Need to Know" (Tom Petty) and "Crash Into Me" (Dave Matthews). She also performed a few classic songs from her Fleetwood Mac albums, including "Landslide", "Gold Dust Woman", "Sara" and "Dreams". But for me, whenever she performs her signature solo song "Edge of Seventeen" I go into a trance. I have always loved the guitar solo in that song and the power in her voice. She did not disappoint last night. I did my "air guitar" act along with her band, squinting my eyes hard as I sang along with Stevie. It was s much fun. The beer also helped.

above: Every Stevie Nicks concert has all sorts of stuff on her microphone stand, ribbons, beads, a rose, and I've even seen a teddy bear attached to it one time. Here (above and below) she was wearing a long black shawl with gold all over it.

above: Stevie Nicks sings as her long time lead guitar and music director Waddy Wachtel wails away on his guitar. They have been performing together for eons.

I had my Stevie Nicks concert attire on: black jeans, black boots, a black Stevie concert t-shirt from a few years ago, and a black leather jacket. Yep, I'm a die hard. It was a great concert and I had a blast. ROCK ON STEVIE!
