For this week's Sunday Art Review, I decided to turn my attention to a few works of sculpture at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Before I continue, I wish to state that I did not take any of the photos in this post. (Usually I take all my own photos for stuff like this). Anyway, I "borrowed" them from the musuem's wonderful website. I figure that since I make a donation to the Palm Springs Art Museum every year, they won't mind too much if I give them some free publicity! As a Musuem member, I enjoy visiting and strolling through the exhibits, letting it all "soak in". Here are a few "modern" sculptures that I thought are worth sharing:
Above: Auguste Rodin: THE THINKER, REDUCTION. (This was his 4th proof of a bronze cast)

Above: Max Bill, "CONSTRUCTION" (granite)

Above: Roy Lichtenstein: "MODERN SCULPTURE WITH LOOP" (metal)

Above: Hans Jean Arp, "ETE DE LUTIN DITE KASPAR" (bronze)
Hope you enjoyed these.
