above: My cup of "Swing Time" Cawfee arrived and I nearly jumped up to do the jitterbug dance I was so happy. Meanwhile Sheldon was busy watching pigeons walk around the plaza, he was fascinated with how their heads bobbed forwards and backwards.

above: Sheldon flirts with a woman who stopped to coo over him. "Awww, are you a labradoodle?" she asked. Sheldon shifted his position and seemed insulted. I quickly responded: "No, he's pure Standard Poodle, he just needs to have his first groom" She smiled and recounted some story about her neighbor's labradoodle who "bla bla bla bla bla......" I stopped listening and found myself staring off into the sky mesmerized by these palm trees in the plaza:

above: The palm trees that mesmerized me. Fortunately when the woman stopped talking, Sheldon sneezed, which caught my attention and gave me the "out" for having had no idea what she had been rambling on about. Just then my breakfast arrived and she took the hint and left us alone.

above: Soon Sheldon was bored and ready to go home. He could only stare at the head bobbing pigeons for so long.
A Side Trip to Dick Van Patten's Star
Before heading home, we walked over to Dick Van Patten's star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars for an updated photo op. This photo was just taken...

above: Sheldon at 5 months old. (Sorry for the shade in the photo.) You can see the difference in his size compared to the photo below:

above: Sheldon at 3 months old. He was so tiny here! I intend to bring him back to Dick's star to take more photos as he grows. Sheldon was so happy to pose for both of these photos, he is such a ham. It is so much fun raising him and watching him grow up into a fine dog. Thanks for stopping by today!
